Some of you have been patiently waiting for this and it’s just around the corner. A brand new Plus class will begin on Monday, January 8 at Jack Purcell Community Centre in room B202!
Featuring the expert calling of Wendy VanderMeulen, this is your chance to learn some new calls and fine tune your dancing.
The class is open to anyone that has completed the SSD or Mainstream programs and it will run until May 13. That’s 16 classes in all. The nightly fee will be $12 and you can pre-pay the entire semester for only $168 (ie. you get two nights free).
Not sure if your skills are good enough to move on yet? Talk to us at dancing and we’ll make recommendations.
Because this class is on Mondays, it means you can dance twice a week now! And the best part is that you only have to pay once a week. It’s our way of encouraging angel dancers to come out to help with the new dancers.
The first month of class will be spent teaching the 12 calls that are missing to complete the Mainstream program and also workshopping new and different arrangements of calls you already know. Then we begin teaching Plus calls.
